We know a few names for this fruit: custard apple (English), araticum do mato (Brazilian Portuguese), and shidkya (Taiwanese). It's neat looking on the outside, but pretty gross looking on the inside. If you can get over the appearance it tastes pretty good - like the way sweet perfume smells.
